Can I switch from iPhone to Android for same money?

I currently have an iPhone 3GS and I would like to get an HTC Aria (AT&T's new android phone) for my upgrade. I am on the FamilyTalk Nation 1400 Rollover & Unlimited Night/Weekend plan with 2 others on it. Can the HTC Aria go on that plan?
